Special Education Teacher, Resource Room, Grades K-3 – Vassalboro Community School

 

Vassalboro Community School is looking for a dynamic, passionate, dedicated team player to fill the K-3 Resource Room position beginning in the 2019-2020 school year.

The successful candidate would meet the following qualifications:

 

  • Appropriate teaching certificate required (282) and current C.H.R.C. Authorization through Maine DOE
  • Strong background in reading & math preferred
  • Experience teaching students with disabilities preferred
  • Knowledge of/experience completing academic testing
  • Experience with IEP
  • Must be able to use data-driven approaches to track learning progress & growth and use evidence-based practices
  • Knowledge of special education law & forms

Title I Educational Technician II 

Vassalboro Community School is in search of a Title I Educational Technician II position: Will be working with primary grades on literacy and possibly math skills.
